The Willmore Wilderness Foundation is committed to keeping traditional mountain skills alive and passing them on to future generations.
Our education programs place a special focus on teaching youth—and the young at heart— the knowledge, culture, and mountain way of life that helped people live and work in the Canadian Rockies.
As a registered charitable society, the Foundation offers workshops, seminars, and public events that celebrate and share the traditions of Willmore Wilderness Park and the surrounding region. These events help increase public awareness of the unique culture, history, and skills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains.
